About
ShesEva is an independent experimental dance & flow artist from Estonia, using different elements from various disciplines in her dance performances.
Her dancing career began in 2009, as a go-go dancer, all though she's been dancing since she learned to walk, whenever music was played. Her first real dance class was a bellydance, at the age of 16, which can be said, became a cornerstone of her style.
Then she rediscovered her favorite childhood toy - a hula hoop. That connection was made again on a whole other level which led her to play and discover many ways to challenge her body and mind. Dance - especially hula hoop dance is truly a celebration of the body. To this day, hula hoop is still her weapon of choice.
Her flow arts performer career started in a fire troupe called Dragonels in 2012. She was the first one to dance with fire and LED hoops in Estonia.
She experiments with many different styles, but is mostly influenced by various styles from Spanish speaking countries like salsa and tango, but the strongest impact is left by flamenco which she says really speaks with her soul.
She is also influenced by her love for the art of stripteas, which has led her through the dazzling world of burlesque and exotic pole dance.
Since she has no fear of heights and likes to climb high, she has also experimented with aerial acrobatics.
As an experimental dancer she doesn't have a fixed style, she’d rather let the music speak to her as the music has been her main teacher.
In addition, she’s a clothing designer and creates all her costumes herself.
